About BIG TRIPPIN’

Created in the Bay Area, BIG TRIPPIN was at first a three piece concept band started by bassist Giulio Xavier Cetto (@thejazzthug), and drummer Thomas Pridgen. Originally featuring pianist and organist Nick lamb and Javi Santiago, the band has sense grown into a five to six piece collective utilizing some of the Bay Area’s most talented artists, including saxophonist John Palowitch and MC Wonway Posibul.  These vibe masters specialize in getting a party started, and keeping the energy high for improvisers, MC’s and dancers alike.  BIG TRIPPIN is now pushing the envelop of Rock, Hip-Hop, Funk and Jazz, while also throwing in original compositions by Giulio, in their own unique nature.  The level of musicianship exhibited by the members is of the highest caliber, giving them the ability to adapt to any scenario or situation.  With secret weapons Thomas Pridgen and Giulio Xavier, the bands gift of capturing the hearts and minds of its listeners is second to none!
